Brow Canvas Founder Amber Littlejohn has cherished all things with beauty from a very young age. Her passion for making others feel beautiful throughout is what fueled her ambition to build a career in the beauty industry. Amber became immediately intrigued with the permanent cosmetic technique called Microblading after reading countless articles about the craft. She was fascinated with the idea of enhancing someone's natural beauty while giving them something to look forward to… seeing beautifully shaped eyebrows day after day and allowing for more time in the lives of her clients. Outside of the studio and aside from doing brows, Amber enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, working on the business side of Brow Canvas, and watching a good health science documentary!

After completing her initial training in 2016, she embarked on her entrepreneurial journey by establishing a Microblading studio in New Orleans, Louisiana, under the name Rusé Beauty Bar. Impelled by her rapid success, within a month, she extended her services to Covington, Louisiana, where she operated from an esthetician room located at the rear of a salon. In late 2018, she undertook a rebranding effort and merged her two studios, giving rise to Brow Canvas, which found a temporary home in a storefront situated in Mandeville, Louisiana. Witnessing the remarkable growth of her team and fueled by her aspiration to provide in-house training, she moved her brow house into a more expansive facility in June of 2021.
This move not only facilitated the accommodation of her growing team but also enabled the reality of her vision for an on-site training facility. Brow Canvas Academy was published in June of 2022!

One Year Apprenticeship

Caley's passion for Microblading ignited at a young age, and after experiencing the transformative effects firsthand in January 2022 as a client of Brow Canvas, she was inspired to become a Permanent Make-up artist. She has dedicated herself to the apprenticeship program, shadowing numerous appointments to absorb knowledge and excel in her pursuit.
Her commitment to learning and assisting at Brow Canvas Academy has doubled her education during the apprenticeship and has allowed her to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques, making her a trusted face at Brow Canvas.
Even after graduating from the apprenticeship program, Caley remains an integral part of the studio as an assistant, constantly shadowing or assisting in various appointments, meetings, and classes, and receiving continuous mentorship from the artists.
